ELK | SHIRAS MOOSE | MOUNTAIN GOATS | BIGHORN SHEEP | BEARS | CATS AND PREDATORS
ELK:
With bow hunts starting on the 1st of September and rifle hunts beginning on the 10th, this 8 day hunt provides hunters with the truest sense of mountain hunting bulls in the rut. Whether on horse, or on foot, the elk are the absolute perfect sense of pristine hunting, as hunting should be enjoyed. A six point or better season allows us to look for mature bulls in the 260-320 class, on a hunt that takes you back to yesterday.
MOOSE:
The bow season begins on the 10th of September and runs the entire season. Best times to have tremendous up close and personal bow hunting is the first week of October. Rifle season begins on the 15th of October and is a wonderful time to get in on these wide paddled monsters. Recognized by SCI as the Shiras, these moose are truly in a class all their own.
GOAT:
For many years man has set themselves up against the mountains; hoping to achieve something that few have ever accomplished. High above the predators and prey sit the Mountain Goat. Physically and mentally challenging, but absolutely achievable. Our success has shown we are capable of bringing all kinds of clients to places and animals they never knew they had the ability to get to. Our goat density is tremendous, our quality superb, our reputation untouchable!
ROCKY MOUNTAIN BIGHORN SHEEP:
Bighorn sheep – few hunters set out on the path of obtaining the North American Grand Slam of trophies, and even fewer ever succeed when beginning this quest. For many years we continue to succeed in making dreams become reality. Quality of rams are arguably some of the best Rocky Mountain Bighorns in the world, our goal is to see your goal on a photograph.
BEAR:
Black bears in abundance in spring and fall have our hunters glassing from slide to slide, cut block to cut block. A wonderful time to get out and begin the season and see all nature has to offer. Grizzly bears are more abundant now than ever, however check in and see what government has left us with. If available this Elk Valley is comparable to Kodiak Island in the spring, big bears, big numbers, an absolute must for anyone who appreciates nature at it’s best.
CATS AND WINTER PREDATORS:
As winter hits, prey take refuge and predators grab hold. Lynx and cougars are abundant in November and December and the dogs are unleashed as guides and clients enjoy the snow and all its conditions. With an exploding population of rabbits, these lynx have flourished. The big cats follow the migration and some tremendous opportunity exists for both cats. Wolves and coyotes are always around and can be added for the true predator hunt.

All hunts have unique opportunities and unique conditions Some times are better for one species than another and some tags are on limited availability. We have combination hunts available and are always able to talk and come up with a hunt just right for you or your friends and family.
